May Day

Wow, it's been a long time since my last post. I might be posting less since I have been working so much recently and struggle with the energy to take photos.
Anyhow, today I had the drive to bring my camera to the May Day celebration at Eli and Juniper's school. Here are a bunch of photos from the day:

Here is Lucas trying to sit on Juniper's lap while Eli gets ready to dance in the background. This is his first year dancing in the celebration - Juniper will have to wait 2 more years until she is in 4th grade.

In this one Lori put her hat on Lucas and he started posing so she took a photo.

And in this one, he insisted on seeing what the photo looked like. How he knows to even look on the other side is beyond me - that's not something that we really do. There is Hazel on Lori's lap - whenever Hazel sees me at the co-op she says "where's Lucas?" instead of "hi". It's really cute.

Lucas sits on Juniper's lap again. There was lots of dancing before they finally got to the weaving part. The 5th graders do this dance, so that means Eli will do it next year. It's really cool to watch.

She loves him.

He ate a lot of strawberries.

Braiding.

Finally done.
Happy May Day!
